Glenn Holmes is a native Clevelander who has performed as a guest soloist in both the classical and jazz idioms, is a former member of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, and is a published composer. Past performances have included associations with Andy Narell, Keith Copeland, Eddie Daniels, Joe Williams, Jimmie Heath, Benny Bailey, Clark Terry, and Cindy Blackman, to name only a few. Holmes is an adjunct faculty member at Cleveland State University as well as an instructor at The Music Settlement. As a freelance musician he is working with the Eric Gould Trio, the Bill Ransom Quintet and the Jazz Heritage Orchestra.
